Let’s take a trip through some old Newspapers.

“Orange Blossom Coffee Advertisement.” South Pasadena Courier, February 21, 1922.
Start your day off right with a good ol’ cup of Java!

“WM. Schlect Advertisement.” Perrysburg Journal , February 24, 1916.
Just sitting here wondering what a good running automobile of this type and vintage would sell for today. I had the opportunity to ride in a Runabout many years ago. It was a very rough, but fun ride.

“Gendron Wheel Co. Advertisement.” Perrysburg Journal , February 24, 1916.
Even before Toledo, Ohio had a reputation for producing automobiles, it hosted many different industries, including Gendron Wheel Co.. Founded in 1872 in Toledo, Ohio by Pierre “Peter” Gendron, they produced bicycles and tricycles amongst other things. The company is still around making medical equipment out of Doraville, Georgia.

“Dr. Gould Dentist Advertisement.” Reading Times , February 22, 1937.
Kind of a very mildly creepy advertisement, but those are some damn good prices for dentistry work!

“The Strand Advertisement.” Reading Times , February 22, 1937.
“Camille” was really well received at the time of this advertisement and since. Also, this movie is often cited as Greta Garbo’s finest performance in her career. I have never seen “Lady From Nowhere”, but I know who Mary Astor was, so it must be good, right?

“Apricot Mousse Recipe” The Boston Globe , February 27, 1909.
This seems to be a pretty straight forward recipe. If anybody tries this recipe out, let me know what you think.
